From bride to bridesmaid so soon. Five months after her own wedding to Tom Ackerley, actress Margot Robbie served as a bridesmaid in a friend’s seaside wedding on Friday, May 12.
The Suicide Squad actress, 26, posted a photo of herself posing in front of a gorgeous church with other members of the wedding party. “Going to the chapel… J❤️N,” Robbie teased. The bridesmaids all appeared to be wearing sleeveless, light colored midi dresses with lush green and white floral bouquets in hand.
Robbie can’t seem to get enough of weddings this year especially after her own nuptials to Ackerley in December. The Wolf of Wall Street beauty secretly exchanged vows in Australia, and confirmed her wedding with one simple Instagram photo of her gorgeous pear-shaped engagement sparkler in focus.
Newlywed life seems like a fun adventure for the pair, who recently enjoyed a tropical getaway together in late April. The couple first met in 2014, while filming the war drama Suite Française.
According to Robbie, Ackerley was a rather pleasant surprise, especially since she wasn’t looking to settle down at the time. “I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit,” Robbie told Vogue in May 2016. “And then this crept up on me… I was always in love with him, but I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him,’” she recalled. “And then it happened, and I was like, ‘Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.’”
