Something old and new! Actress Margot Robbie reportedly wore her mother’s wedding dress while secretly marrying beau Tom Ackerley in Australia this weekend.

The Suicide Squad star, 26, confirmed her newlywed status on Tuesday, December 20, by posting a photo of herself kissing her husband with her pear-shaped engagement ring in focus. That same day, photos of her Bohemian-inspired, lace, off-the-shoulder wedding dress were revealed by an Australia’s The Daily Telegraph.

According to the Courier Mail, that same gown once belonged to Robbie’s mother, who supposedly walked her down the aisle. A source told the site that Robbie altered mom Sarie Kessler’s wedding dress with the help of bridal designer Casey Tanswell.

“[Tanswell] had been approached by a friend to do the alterations,” a source told the outlet. “She didn’t know it was Margot until she turned up at her home for the fitting.”

The bride and groom first met three years ago on the set of Suite Française. Robbie told Vogue this past May that falling in love was unexpected.

“I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit,” the Wolf of Wall Street beauty expressed. “And then this crept up on me … I was always in love with him, but I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him.’ And then it happened, and I was like, ‘Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.’”
