For Mark Ballas and BC Jean, it was a very wedding Friday. The Dancing With the Stars pro and the songwriter (Brittney Jean Carlson) married on Friday, November 25, in Southern California.
According to Us Weekly, the couple married at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. People reported that about 150 guests attended the nuptials, including Ballas’ childhood friends Julianne Hough and Derek Hough, who served as best man. Other DWTS pros to witness the wedding included Sharna Burgess, Cheryl Burke, and the newly engaged Sasha Farber and Emma Slater.
Hough hinted at the beautiful night ahead on Instagram with a artsy photo of himself holding a watch. “It’s time!” he wrote alongside the photo.

In an interview with People, Ballas gushed about marrying his love. “Your wedding is something you subconsciously prepare for your entire life,” he said. “You wonder who it’s going to be with, where it is going to be and how the ceremony and reception are going to be. Now it’s finally here and happening. It’s surreal. I just want to soak it all up because I just know I’m going to click my fingers and the whole evening will be over and I want to make sure I enjoy it.”
