Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were a stylish pair when they served as bridesmaids at Maggie Kayne and Travis Hayden’s wedding on February 25. The Elizabeth and James designers, both 30, donned nontraditional, black dresses for the outdoor nuptials in Mangawhai, New Zealand.
As they walked arm in arm down the aisle, Mary-Kate carried a white parasol, while her twin held a bouquet of white flowers and greenery. Ashley donned a black, fur stole over her long, dark gown, and wore her hair in a chic updo. Mary-Kate accessorized with layered bracelets and earrings, and opted for long, loose waves.
Mary-Kate’s husband, Olivier Sarkozy, accompanied her to the wedding, and Ashley’s boyfriend, Richard Sachs, also tagged along. According to Us Weekly, the foursome enjoyed four days of relaxation at the Tara Iti Golf Club, which is owned by Ric Kayne–the bride’s billionaire father.
During an interview with Net-a-Porter earlier this week to discuss the sisters’ fashion line, Mary-Kate opened up about her marriage. “I have a husband, two stepkids and a life,” she shared. “I have to go home and cook dinner. I run on the weekend. You find the thing that helps you relax, and if you don’t have it, you have to look for it. Or you get burned out, and then you’re not productive.”
Mary-Kate dated the French financier, 47, for three years before the duo married in Manhattan on November 27, 2015. She has managed to balance a busy family life along with a successful career.
Ashley, who was first linked to her 58-year-old banker beau last fall, is also juggling a busy personal life and business endeavors. She told Net-a-Porter: “I’ve always been a worker. It has taken me a lot to figure out how to take a vacation.”
