Manymoons later, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle slipped away for a minimoon during their official royal tour through Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand this month.
The couple broke away for a little escape during the final stretch of their time in Fiji, enjoying a one-night stay at the Vatuvara Private Islands Resort on Kaibu Island.
The luxury resort is all inclusive and features three private villas. Each villa includes an infinity pool that overlooks private beaches. Also, it’s right up Harry and Meghan’s sustainable travel focus as the resort itself describes its offerings as “conscientious luxury to the discerning traveler.”
The latest two-day excursion could be considered a babymoon as well since the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex are expecting their first child together. After a brief respite, the couple then returned to official royal commitments in Tonga.
Of course, the pair has enjoyed manymoons after marrying at Windsor Castle on May 19. The couple reportedly enjoyed a minimoon in Ireland following their wedding, along with an extended honeymoon with the location still remaining a mystery.
“No, we didn’t go to Namibia. I’m not going to say where,” Harry told a young philanthropist from Namibia at a palace event this year. It was also speculated that the pair had gone to Canada, but all of it will remain shrouded in secrecy until the royals directly address it themselves.
