Miguel and Nazanin Mandi’s wedding at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in California was a long time coming—13 years, to be exact. The couple, together since they were both 18, exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony on November 24, surrounded by friends and loved ones on Thanksgiving weekend.
“11.24.18. Pimentel life moments! New levels and unforgettable memories shared with our closest friends and family,” the 33-year-old R&B singer captioned a series of stunning photos on Instagram. “So much love and gratitude for everyone that made our special day truly unforgettable. We love you all.”

In two of the photos, the couple embraces before a backdrop of blue sky and sandy hills. (The last photo is a solo shot of the singer looking dapper in his custom Van Van tuxedo and a pair of white-framed shades.
Mandi, meanwhile, stuns in a custom Monique Lhuillier wedding gown, with sheer lace long sleeves and a long train that adds drama to the images. “I always knew I wanted Monique Lhuillier to design my wedding dress for the ceremony,” she told Vogue. “Something form-fitting and lace with a long train. My veil is a classic Spanish style Mantilla.”
The bride added a sentimental note on Instagram. “What a truly magical day filled w/ so much love, light & positivity,” she expressed. “The second Miguel & my Father got emotional THAT WAS IT… No holding back the tears. To those who came out to celebrate w/ us we are forever grateful & hope you left w/ a full drunk happy heart & memories to last a lifetime! Yes, this was a long time coming but timing is everything & we will continue to do things our way always & forever.”
For the reception, Mandi, 32, changed into a Carly Cushnie design that she described as “classic cuts with a modern edge.” The bride and groom kept their ceremony and reception traditional, choosing to highlight their venue as a way to celebrate their joint and individual aesthetics.
“Our wedding planner Myra Harbour from Celebrate had a huge hand in picking our venue,” Mandi said. “We described to her what we were looking for—a Spanish-style estate that we could book-out for the entire weekend—and Hummingbird Nest Ranch immediately came to mind. We saw the location and knew right away!”

Following their 30-minute ceremony, the couple and their guests delighted in a dinner of traditional Mexican food with a twist by Chef Eduardo Ruiz, and kept the energy high throughout the night with tequila and music by DJ Mick. In a proper salute to the California way of capping off a fun fete, the newlyweds also brought in an In-N-Out burger truck to help satisfy late-night cravings.
Miguel and Mandi first met as teens when she was interviewing him for a behind-the-scenes DVD he was putting out in conjunction with his very first music video. “I asked him a question that wasn’t on my Q&A, which was: ‘All the ladies want to know, do you have a girlfriend?’ And he smiled and said, ‘No, but I’m looking for one,’” she recalled to Vogue.
“We exchanged numbers, and he called me the next day to ask me out on a date. … and ever since then it’s been one hell of a ride!”
