Gym, tan, laundry… and beyond. In just a few weeks, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino will wed Lauren Pesce, which means the couple is rapidly marking items off their wedding checklist, including registering for homeware as they will soon begin their new marriage together.
This week, the internet discovered the Jersey Shore personality’s wedding registry, which specifically includes items from Crate & Barrel and Bloomingdale’s. According to E! News, the items listed total more than a whopping $18,000—and it’s not because the pieces are necessarily extravagant by any means. The couple simply has a lot of room to fill specifically, in their kitchen.
The priciest item on the couple’s registry is the Montreux All Season Down Comforter in a king size, which is valued at $673.
Sorrentino and Pesce seemingly are planning to spend plenty of time in their kitchen, so they’ve requested everything from a KitchenAid Stand Ice Cream Mixer to a Pasta Maker to a beautiful Stand Mixer in the Copper Metallic hue. They’ve also registered for a Vitamix (because what’s better than bookending a gym session than with a delicious smoothie?) as well as automatic slicers and food scales to help alleviate the cooking process.
Interesting standout registry pieces include pet items like a $180 dog bed, and a nifty marble tic-tac-toe game set valued at $39.95.
The pair celebrated their joint wedding shower in late September held at an Italian restaurant called the Osteria Cucina Rustica in New Jersey. It was likely that many of their registry items were fulfilled at their Amalfi-themed party.
Guests enjoyed mouthwatering treats from Confections of a Rock Star—including a vanilla cake topped by buttercream icing and infused with a lemon curd filling. Attendees, including core Jersey Shore cast members, left with olive oils from The Twisted Branch with the label itself reading, “Grazie With love the soon to be… Mr. & Mrs. Sorrentino.”
The longtime couple will wed before Sorrentino’s 8-month prison sentence for tax fraud begins. “Mike accepts the court’s decision and looks forward to marrying his college sweetheart, Lauren Pesce and moving forward together after serving his sentence,” his rep told reporters in a statement. “He anticipates to come back stronger as an individual and couple in the same healthy mindset that he has had for the last 3 years. He and Lauren are both so thankful for everyone’s support and prayers!”
