A real-life romantic comedy! Mila Kunis recalled the very moment she developed feelings for her future husband, Ashton Kutcher, in a juicy, no-holds-barred interview with Howard Stern on Tuesday, July 19.

Kunis, who’s currently expecting her second child with Kutcher, reiterated that her relationship with her That ‘70s Show costar was nothing more than a friendship — but there was a sudden shift one night out in L.A.

“I don’t even know what to tell you. I think it took my parents by surprise,” the Bad Moms star, 32, revealed. “I think it took everybody by surprise. When I was like, ‘Yeah, I wanna do this,’ I think it took him and I both by surprise. We started dating with both the idea that we would never get married.”

At the time, both parties had endured recent splits. For Kutcher, it was the demise of his marriage to Demi Moore, while Kunis had just ended her long-term relationship with Macaulay Culkin. “I was single and having the best time ever,” she confessed. “And I was like, ‘I’m never getting married.’”

Then, Kutcher entered the picture again. “We always kept in touch on AIM… We would pop on each other’s things,” she joked. “And then, we ran into each other out and about … at an awards show.”

The Black Swan beauty said that fateful encounter suddenly altered her perception of her former colleague. “So I see this guy and I see his back — he’s very tall and I’m like, ‘Who’s that tall guy?’” she shared. “I’m 5’4’’ and he’s 6’4’’ and I’m wearing this big poofy dress. And then he just turns around, and it was literally like if we were in a movie and the music would start playing and violins would go… I think, for the first time ever, he took my breath away.”

In that moment, Kunis thought: “‘F—k he’s good-looking.’ I don’t know if all of a sudden I could see well.”

Or if she had simply matured. “I think we both had to go through a lot in our lives to become the people that we were. Because we would never be together based on the people we used to be,” she reflected.

Stern asked how she and Kutcher made the transition from friendship to romance.

“I might get in trouble for this. Well, whatever. So, here’s how this happened,” Kunis replied. “We oddly both did a movie — I did Friends With Benefits. He did a movie called No Strings Attached. — If we just paid attention to these movies, s—t like this does not work out in real life … Literally, we lived out our movies.”

The two got together for the first time at Kutcher’s housewarming party. “He’d been only single for eight months at that point,” she recalled. “He at this point was trying to set me up with a friend of his … And so, I didn’t know this.”

Kunis must have taken Kutcher’s breath away when she walked in. “I did not come home that night,” the actress joked, saying their first kiss was behind closed doors. “It was super private. It was the first time ever that I had ever slept over at a guy’s house. I’ll tell you this much — he didn’t let me leave … When I was single, I was adamant about never staying over at a guy’s house. And he was like, ‘You’re not leaving.’”

Three months passed and by then, Kunis had developed strong feelings for Kutcher. “I was like, ‘This isn’t fun anymore.’ …We were incredibly open with each other with regards to where we were with our feelings. When I realized when I was nervous was when I spoke to him.”

It worked out for the pair. The couple welcomed their first child, Wyatt, in October 2014, and married last July. “Our relationship could not be more transparent with one another,” she concluded in her interview.
