Serious marriage goals. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher got super competitive over a game of charity ping pong held at Dodger Stadium on Thursday, August 23, and their hilarious expressions and reactions were thankfully documented by photographers.
The couple attended Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw’s 6th annual Ping Pong 4 Purpose charity event. (The fundraiser, which the athlete throws with his wife, raises funds to help at-risk children and organizations that support the cause.)
Both Kunis and Kutcher were partners in the tournament, but didn’t quite advance when they faced their host Kershaw. An eyewitness told E! News, “Mila and Ashton looked like they were having the best date night.”
Indeed, the two were seen triumphantly raising their arms in excitement mid-match. “You can tell they love Dodgers baseball and know all the players,” the spectator added. “They wanted to have fun.”
Indeed, the two are oftentimes spotted at Dodgers games and other L.A.-based sporting events. The couple even announced the starting lineup several years ago.
Kunis recently rehashed the origin of her romance with her former co-star. “I did a movie called Friends With Benefits. He did a movie that was very similar called No Strings Attached. We lived our movies out,” Kunis said on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast in July. “We were like, ‘Let’s just hook up. Let’s have fun. We’re both single. We both trust each other. Everything’s great.’”
While wanting to keep things casual, both parties developed feelings for each other. When Kutcher shared with Kunis that he was dating someone, the actress revealed she reacted as if she “got punched in the gut.”
“He said something, and I was like, ‘Oh my God. I love this man. And I have to walk away because this is not the agreement that we had. So I’m going to speak up,’” she added in the podcast. “[And] he was like, ‘Got it,’” she added. “And the next day, he showed up to my house and he was like, ‘Move in with me.’ And I said, OK.”
The pair married at Secret Garden at Parrish Ranch in California in July 2015.
