Moved to tears. Josh Altman married Heather Bilyeu in Aspen, Colorado, this past April, and their gorgeous wedding was finally featured on the Thursday, November 10 episode of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.

In a new interview with The Daily Dish, Altman, 37, revealed that watching the wedding on-screen resulted in a range of emotions.

“It was incredible,” he told Bravo. “I actually just saw the episode last night. First of all, I cried, which is very unlike something that I would do, when I saw it. I just started tearing up and so did my wife. They really captured the moment for us. I was really happy because the whole world is going to see that.”

The success-driven real estate agent shared that seeing his bride for the first time was his favorite wedding day moment. He initially thought he would see Bilyeu as she was walking down the aisle, so imagine his surprise when he learned that he’d get a pre-ceremony sneak peek!

“I was about to open the door and then I got really nervous,” Altman explained. “When I walked in and she was standing there in this beautiful dress, she looked incredible. Best ever, ever that I’ve seen her. The sun was coming through the St. Regis [Hotel] window, and it almost made her look like an angel, I swear. This was the moment I walked in. I tried to play it cool, I started crying immediately and that was it. That moment for me — the reveal — was just on another level.”

The duo first began planning a lavish wedding back in 2014, but they chose to postpone the nuptials when the process became too stressful. “That was a really, really emotional time for me,” Bilyeu said at the time. “There was just so much going on and it was really chaotic. I almost went through with the wedding and I feel like if I would have, Josh and I might not be together. Or our relationship wouldn’t be where it is now.”

Altman is clearly happy with how things turned out. “That whole week for me was really incredible,” he told The Daily Dish about the couple’s Aspen nuptials. “It was the total opposite of what we thought by doing this massive royal wedding type of thing [the first time], which was a giant mistake. It was more just really close family and friends in an amazing place.”

The newlyweds announced in September that they’re expecting a baby girl!
