A model bridesmaid! Miranda Kerr proudly joined the bridal party in her brother’s wedding over the holidays.

The supermodel’s sibling, Matthew Kerr, exchanged vows with longtime partner James Wright in Hunter Valley, Australia, on Friday, December 30. Miranda, 33, donned a sleeveless, ivory gown, and swept her long, brown hair into an updo. A crown of gorgeous flowers topped the ensemble.

The grooms–who donned white, button-front shirts and bow ties–said “I do” in front of 284 guests, according to an Instagram post by Miranda and Matthew’s mother, Therese.

After the nuptials, Therese took to the social media platform to congratulate the newlyweds. “They decided on forever…” she wrote, alongside a snap of the grooms and their loved ones.

The proud mother also posted  a shot of her husband walking their son down the aisle.

While the Australian government doesn’t recognize same-sex marriage, Therese sent a powerful message of support to her son and his new husband. “In our eyes, in the eyes of Matty and Jimmy’s family and friends and by the law of the universe that overrides all, Matty and Jimmy are married and have started a new and beautiful life together,” she wrote.

In a post-ceremony snapshot, the grooms and their wedding party sat on white blankets beneath a beautiful, blue sky. The ladies, including Miranda, held white parasols–which matched their dresses–to shade them from the sun.

It may not be long before Miranda’s brother plays a special part in his sister’s wedding. The brunette beauty got engaged to her love, Snapchat founder and CEO Evan Spiegel, this past July.
