‘Beauty and the Beast,’ ‘Bachelorette’ and 4 More Wedding-Worthy Movies Hitting Netflix in September

Happy September! Netflix is gaining four Disney favorites to binge all month long.

It’s almost September, when everyone braces themselves for summer’s bittersweet farewell, and fall brides and grooms truly start to feel the time crunch. But it also means Netflix has new movies arriving soon to make your date nights, girls’ nights and take-out-by-yourself nights that much more relaxing. And, we have to say, Netflix totally nailed its September lineup. There’s nothing like having your favorite Disney classic on in the background while addressing save-the-dates, right? Here are a few wedding-worthy flicks headed straight for your queue.

1. Pocahontas (1995)

Starring: Mel Gibson, Irene Bedard and Linda Hunt
Arriving: September 14

Get excited! Everybody’s favorite New World romance is just around the riverbend. (Sorry, we had to.)


2. Hercules (1997)

Starring: Tate Donovan, Susan Egan and Danny DeVito
Arriving: September 1

Meg can play hard to get all she wants, but there’s no denying her chemistry with Greece’s beloved demigod.


3. Mulan (1998)

Feeling low? Mulan is all the girl-power inspiration you need. If she can defeat the Huns in a dress, you can totally plan this wedding.


4. Bachelorette (2012)

Available: September 26

Caution: This hilarious bridal party is extremely dysfunctional—and hopefully the total opposite of yours.


5. Beauty and the Beast (2017)

It’s finally here! Disney’s live-action adaptation of the iconic fairy tale exceeds expectations, we promise. Just wait until you see Belle’s breathtaking gold ball gown.


6. Like Crazy (2011)

Want a first love story that will make and break your heart in the best possible way? This bittersweet indie hit is the movie for you. But be warned, it will make you feel things.
