Strike a pose! Bristol Palin is full of love and some funny faces for her new husband Dakota Meyer and son Tripp in her latest family photos.
The 25-year-old daughter of former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin shared a collection of sweet and silly images snapped photo booth-style on Instagram Thursday. The film strip highlights some serious grins, kissy faces with puckered lips, and a special, third image of Bristol and Tripp sticking their tongues out while Dakota looks comically disgusted.
“At work but wishing I was home with my babes,” the Dancing with the Stars alum captioned the July 21, photo. Though the couple’s daughter Sailor Grace didn’t appear in the array of expressions, Bristol’s son from her relationship with ex Levi Johnston hammed it up, taking center stage in the family photos.
Bristol and Dakota originally called off their engagement in May 2015 just months before Bristol revealed her second pregnancy. After a secret reconciliation with Dakota the couple eloped and were married in a private wedding ceremony which Bristol confirmed on Wednesday, June 8.
The couple were greeted with lots of love from their families after news of their elopement became public. “It’s been a rewarding and interesting ride this past year – but these two sure do love an adventure!” Bristol’s political mom Sarah commented on their surprise wedding. “As their biggest supporters, we’re stratospherically happy it’s happened, amidst running a little late!”
