If you’ve been following the Newlyweds: The First Year drama, you’re most-likely fond of Craig Ramsay and Brandon Liberati. They manage to keep viewers intrigued every week with their fun approach to marriage and obvious adoration for each other.
On the January 27 episode of Newlyweds: The First Year, Brandon manages to shock his husband. He surprises Craig with a couple of presents, leading to a hilarious conversation. The Knot is giving viewers an exclusive sneak peek at the tense (and funny) moment.
“Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme,” Craig says when Brandon presents a gift bag. But Craig’s not expecting what Brandon is about to pull out of the bag.
“Indicates normal and low sperm count. Seriously?” Craig says disgustedly when he sees what his husband brought him. “Why does everyone think that it’s me and my sperm?”
On an earlier episode of Newlyweds: The First Year, we find out that Brandon’s sister, Bree, and her wife are eager to have a baby. Craig selflessly agrees to donate his sperm to help his sister-in-law, but Bree and her wife are devastated when she doesn’t wind up pregnant.
“Craig doesn’t think that Bree not getting pregnant has anything to do with him, that it’s all about her,” Brandon tells viewers of the home sperm test he brought home to his husband, “so if Craig’s not gonna do this test, I’m gonna bring this test home to him.”
“So you’re playing doctor?” Craig asks his Brandon.
“Maybe,” Brandon says with a smile.
“It’s kinda hot, actually,” Craig replies, making his husband laugh.
In a tense moment, the Newlyweds wait, and eventually the timer goes off.
“I feel like I’m in bartender school,” Brandon says as he conducts the home sperm test. “Let’s make a baby!”
Our fingers are crossed that Craig can indeed help his sister-in-law make a baby. And we’re secretly hoping that the Newlyweds will soon have the twins they both dream of.
