At least he pays attention. Nick Jonas took to Instagram Thursday, December 20, to share yet another photo from his wedding to Priyanka Chopra from early December.
The actor created a split of two images, the first from their appearance at the Met Gala in 2017 with Ralph Lauren. The second was from his Christian wedding ceremony at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur.
In both, Jonas makes the same cautious expression with his hands crossed as he looks over his shoulder at Chopra.
“Rule number one… never step on her train,” he joked.
Jonas likely meant not to step on Chopra’s elaborate 50-foot veil that paired beautifully with her custom gown by Ralph Lauren.
It’s been a whirlwind week for Jonas and Chopra with the couple returning to India this week to host their second wedding reception–this time in Mumbai. “This has been an extremely special chapter in my life and I wanted my husband to meet all of the special people that have contributed to it,” Chopra told guests (according to E! News). “So thank you so much for being here, friends of my parents, my mom, who’s hosting this wonderful evening, my dad, who I know is here. Thank you so much for coming and giving us your blessings and I hope you have a wonderful time tonight, and this is my husband, Nick Jonas.”
Wedding celebrations have played a dominant role in the Jonas family lately with Kevin and Danielle Jonas’s ninth wedding anniversary taking place on December 19.
“As I enter this new chapter of my life with my beautiful bride I’m so grateful to have a shining example of what a beautiful and healthy marriage should be,” Nick wrote in a tribute on Wednesday. “Love you both so much (and your sweet daughters). Cheers to a lifetime of joy ahead for you both together always. Happy anniversary.”
