A heart divided. In an extended sneak peek of the Bachelor season 21 finale, Nick Viall reveals that he’s in love with both Raven Gates and Vanessa Grimaldi. Here’s what Bachelor Nation can expect ahead of ABC’s finale airing Monday, March 13.

Nick and His Finalists are Afraid of Getting Hurt
Although Nick and his final two have poured their hearts into the Bachelor process, they’re all well aware that their hearts may be broken in this final stage.

Nick opens up about his concerns in the confessional. “I’m in love with these two women, but I’ve been incredibly terrified because I was very much in love with Andi and Kaitlyn, and I was really heartbroken both times. I am terrified that will happen again,” he confesses.

In an emotional moment, Vanessa admits to not being sure that she’s ready for Nick’s proposal.

Nick’s Parents Weigh In
Nick introduces Raven and Vanessa to his parents before making his final decision. After meeting with Raven alone, Nick’s father points out that although Raven is the type of woman that Nick is typically attracted to, he hasn’t had much luck in the past.

Vanessa breaks down in tears when Nick’s dad explains that sacrifice is a key ingredient in a relationship.

One Last Dose of Romance
Nick takes each of his finalists on one last date in Finland before the finale. The picturesque setting is ideal for horseback riding with Vanessa and ice skating with Raven.

But after the dates, Nick seems just as confused about his decision.

Everyone Is Confused
As Nick reflects on his Bachelor experience, he realizes his ultimate decision will be life-changing for everyone involved.

“It’s very hard to comprehend how strong I feel for each of these women,” he shares in the confessional. “I’m not sure what’s gonna happen. I’m running out of time. There’s so many questions that I don’t have answers to. I’m just afraid. If I leave here alone, I’ll be devastated… I’ll be heartbroken. Hopefully my heart will know what it needs to do.”

Nick apologizes to Raven for “taking so long to figure my heart out.” When Vanessa asks if he’s ready to propose, Nick replies, “The week’s not over.” This leaves her even more confused.

Watch the extended preview above, and tune in to the Bachelor season 21 finale, airing Monday, March 13 at 8 p.m. ET.
