That’s love. After much speculation, WWE superstar John Cena proposed to longtime love Nikki Bella at WrestleMania 33.
The Trainwreck actor, 39, proposed to his girlfriend of five years at the highly-anticipated WWE event, moments after he and Bella defeated The Mix and Maryse during a tag team match on Sunday, April 2. The already-raucous crowd roared as Cena got down on one knee after the victory, and presented Bella with a ring.
“I’ve been waiting so long to ask you this,” Cena expressed. “Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, Will you marry me?”

Cena and Bella are best known as the power pair in the WWE. Fans have followed their romance publicly on E!’s Total Divas and its spin-off, Total Bellas. Just last April, the future bride expressed how she would like if Cena proposed to her.
This will be the second marriage for Cena and Bella, who shares social media accounts with her twin sister Brie. Shortly after the proposal took place, Brie presumably took to Twitter to express her joy. “Happy tears!!!!” it read. “They always felt married to me but to see it…wow!!! Welcome to the family @JohnCena.”
Bella isn’t the only Diva to kick off wedding planning within the last year. In August 2016, The Knot revealed an exclusive set of photos from former WWE Diva Barbie Blank‘s nuptials to NHL player Sheldon Souray. Blank had some advice for fans as well.
“I would say, on that day, you just need to be alone with your thoughts. Just be,” the WAGs star noted. “Take the whole day in. I think it’s really important. You have to just be in that moment, and not stress. You have to just be calm.”
