This Bella is ready to be a bride! Total Divas star Nikki Bella shared yet another comprehensive wedding planning update this week, including new details about her date, her gown and more.
“So I do have a date now, but I can’t say,” Bella told E! News on Thursday, July 20. “But we finally came up with a date… and I did find the dress!” Nikki’s twin sister Brie confirmed, “She did and it’s stunning!”
The future bride and WWE superstar John Cena got engaged in April before millions of viewers at WrestleMania 33. Following Bella’s engagement, The Knot caught up with the WWE Diva to discuss everything from her 4.5-carat custom engagement ring designed by Tiffany & Co., to her first steps with planning out the nuptials.
“The one thing he told me was, ‘Nicole, I want you to do everything. I want it to be your perfect day,’” she previously told us. “I was like, ‘Well I want you to join me.’ And he said, ‘Well, I want it to be everything you want.’ So it’s really cute. I know… He treats me like a queen.”
Bella subsequently attended Bridal Fashion Week, where she got a firsthand look at the latest collections in New York City.
“I said yes to the dress!” she told E! this week. “You know, what’s crazy is when I was at the spring fashion shows and I attended Marchesa and when I looked at that line, like she got me when they handed we a glass of Perrier Jouet and a macaron. I was like, ‘OK, yes.’ And then I saw this dress and I was like, ‘That’s Princess Grace Kelly.’ Like that is what I want so bad. And so all the girls warned me, ‘Just so you know, like even though you love it sometimes when you try something on it doesn’t work.’ I put it on and I was like this is the one.”
Her sister added, “She walked out and I was just like, ‘Whoa!'”

The bride will have two maids of honor, including her twin and another friend. Bella previously played “This or That” with The Knot and shared some preliminary thoughts on the upcoming nuptials. At the time, she said she preferred an outdoor fall wedding on the West Coast. “Fall weddings are so beautiful and I just think of that season, but you can have fires and it’s not that cold,” she said.
