Scandal star Kerry Washington made a beautiful bride on the show’s 100th episode on Thursday, April 13. The actress, who plays Washington D.C.-based crisis manager Olivia Pope, finally married Tony Goldwyn’s character, Fitzgerald Grant on the Emmy Award-winning drama. However, it was alternate reality.
Washington, 40, wore a stunning Anne Barge gown in the Berkeley silhouette. The off-shoulder, rouched silk and satin chiffon dress features a full ball gown skirt made of Italian silk kalika.
The piece retails between $4000-$4499. “Berkeley is one of my most special gowns,” Barge said in a release to The Knot and others. “It is both timeless and chic, perfect for a modern, classic bride.”
The actress’ wedding day hairstyle was inspired by singer Janelle Monae’s pearl-accented updo from this year’s Golden Globes. “P.S. my dear @JanelleMonae that wedding hair was TOTALLY inspired by your Golden Globes glam,” Washington shared on Twitter.

Washington may have looked beyond glamorous in her gown, but she was comfortable underneath. She shared an adorable video via Instagram donning a pair of skinny jeans under the dress.
“The truth underneath it all,” Washington wrote. “Gotta be comfy.”
