On Saturday, May 20, Pippa Middleton and James Matthews will marry at St Mark’s Church in Englefield, and while this wedding will be the society highlight of the year, the bride and groom—like most couples—needed to rehearse their walk down the aisle first.

On a rainy Friday morning, the couple arrived to the church to run through the ceremony and wrap any additional details. E! News reports that the wedding party arrived via foot and cars, all dressed appropriately for the occasion.

The wedding rehearsal attendees included the groom’s parents Jane and David Matthews, as well as his younger brother Spencer Matthews, who will serve as best man on Saturday. The bride’s parents Michael and Carole Middleton also joined the rehearsal event, which ended after noon local time. “Carole was smiling,” an eyewitness told E!

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and Prince William were later spotted heading back to Kensington Palace, but the children were not seen at the rehearsal.

Both Prince George and Princess Charlotte will have roles in the wedding on Saturday, respectively serving as a page boy and a bridesmaid. According to Hello! magazine, the kids’ nanny Maria Turrion Borrallo attended the rehearsal to help the little ones prepare. (During a garden party earlier this week, Princess Kate expressed concern about the children’s behavior during the nuptials.)

It’s expected to rain heavily on the couple’s wedding day, but the bride and groom have made appropriate preparations for their wedding reception. This past week, a huge glass structure was erected on the Middleton family’s Bucklebury home, where about 350 guests are expected to celebrate.

Prince Harry will attend the nuptials with girlfriend Meghan Markle.
