Get ready for one cute wedding! Kensington Palace officially confirmed on Monday, April 10, that Pippa Middleton and James Matthews will marry next month, and both Princess Charlotte and Prince George will have starring roles in the ceremony.
Three-year-old George will serve as a page boy, while Charlotte—who will turn 2 on May 2—will be a bridesmaid. Their uncle Prince Harry will also witness the ceremony, as well as the kids’ world-famous parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
It still remains a mystery whether the Duchess of Cambridge will have a role in the ceremony itself. As recalled, Pippa became a household name after serving as a bridesmaid in her sister’s high-profile wedding to Prince William in 2011.
Pippa, 33, will marry her financier fiance, 41, at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire, which is within close proximity to the Middleton family residence in Buckleberry. The ceremony location itself holds sentimental value to the bride and their family, who’ve attended St. Mark’s for decades. The family stopped by the church for Christmas Day service in 2016.
Matthews proposed last July to the event planner with a 3.5-carat ring. The two were longtime friends before their relationship turned romantic.
