Meet the parents! Meghan Markle, the world’s most-Googled actress of 2016, has reportedly introduced boyfriend Prince Harry to her father.
Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., told the Daily Mail this week that the Suits actress introduced the British royal to her dad, Thomas Markle, while filming in Toronto—and the meeting took place nearly six months ago. (To put things into perspective, Prince Harry, 32, confirmed he was dating Markle in early November.)
Markle Jr. told the site on Wednesday, January 4, that his younger sibling and the royal are “very much in love.” He added: “They’re extremely happy together, they look great together and she’s done good.”
The Suits star’s sibling opined about how their father feels about the British royal. “He’s pretty happy about Harry and he’s extremely proud of her,” Markle Jr. continued. “They have an amazing relationship, they’re very close and they always have been. She’s obviously happy because if she wasn’t happy, she wouldn’t be there.”
For those questioning whether Meghan is fit to become a princess, Markle Jr. had this to say: “She’s the right girl for the job. It’s not a job, but she’s the right girl. You couldn’t get a more refined, well-rounded person than her.”
Here’s even more evidence supporting her case. “She did like Cinderella and The Little Mermaid,” Markle Jr. noted of his sister. “But she never had a Prince Harry poster or anything like that. But still, I think she fits the bill more than anyone.”

Harry’s communications secretary issued a rare public statement on behalf of the Prince in early November after weeks of speculation that the two were linked. “Prince Harry is worried about Ms. Markle’s safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her,” the royal noted at the time. “It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm. He knows commentators will say this is ‘the price she has to pay’ and that ‘this is all part of the game.’ He strongly disagrees.”
The two have since been photographed together shopping for a Christmas tree and sporting matching bracelets.
