Another royal wedding is coming! This time, though, in Monaco.
Louis Ducruet, the grandson of the beloved Princess Grace Kelly, is engaged to college sweetheart Marie Chevallier, the Prince’s Palace announced Wednesday, February 21.
Her Royal Highness Princess Stéphanie, the daughter of the late Princess and Prince Rainier III, announced the news Wednesday with “joy.”
Ducruet also took to Instagram to revel in the news. “Let me introduce you the future madame Ducruet,” Louis wrote, alongside a photo from the intimate oceanfront proposal. “She said yes and we are now engaged #withlove #engagement #proposal #iloveyou @mariehoachevallier.”
He proposed on the beach at the Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai in Hoi An, Vietnam.
Like her new fiancé, Chevallier also posted a pic from the moment on her social account. “Proud to announce that, I said YES to the love of my life @louisducruet,” she wrote. “I love you so so so much.”
According to People, the couple first met while studying in college at the Western Carolina University in North Carolina. Upon graduating from undergrad, 25-year-old Louis moved back home to work for the country’s soccer team AS Monaco, serving in the recruitment division for two years.
His future wife also lives in Monaco, serving as a coordinator at the Hotel Hemitage.
No date has been secured just yet for the wedding. Louis is the oldest of Stéphanie’s children; his father is her ex-husband, Daniel Ducruet. He is also brother to Pauline Ducruet, 23, and his half-sister Camille Gottlieb.
