Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas hosted yet another wedding-related celebration this weekend—taking their nearly two months of festivities down south this time to North Carolina.
The actress, 36, and her husband, 26, were surrounded by immediate family members at Nellie’s Southern Kitchen, a restaurant owned and operated by the Jonas family located in the downtown portion of Belmont. The couple was photographed entering the restaurant in a strapless white dress while the groom wore a utilitarian style, hunter green shirt.
The couple’s monogram design, seen throughout their wedding related events in December, was also on display along with other signs toasting to the pair. Chopra, herself, posted a group photo from the night, which showed the parents and other family members clad in traditional Indian outfits.
“Fam jam,” Chopra captioned the pic. “Thank you @nelliessouthernkitchen @mamadjonas @papakjonas for a wonderful reception! We love you! This was amazing.”
Chopra and Jonas married in a lavish back-to-back wedding weekend on December 1, starting with an outdoor Christian ceremony followed by a formal Hindu wedding the following evening.
The latest event marks the couple’s fourth or fifth wedding reception since their nuptials at the Umaid Bhawan Palace.
E! News reported that a sign was posted inside the restaurant that read, “Nick and Priyanka just got hitched but that knot that they tied has not been dipped in gravy or honey or hot chicken grease. So it’s time we throw them a Nellie’s Southern feast. Mama and Papa invite you with pride to come celebrate their boy and his bride.”
The private event took place on Sunday.
