Move over, wedding day, because Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are having a wedding month. The couple officially married on December 1, in a Christian ceremony officiated by the groom’s father. They then hosted a second wedding in line with Hindu traditions the following day.
The pair, who hosted a fusion pre-wedding week complete with a Sangeet, a Puja and more, then seemingly ended their wedding with a lavish reception in New Delhi attended by the prime minister of India. Two weeks later on Wednesday, December 19, the pair hosted a second wedding reception this time in Mumbai.
Chopra and Jonas briefly returned to New York City before jetting off to India once again. For their second reception, the bride chose a royal blue and gold gown with a beautiful draping alongside one shoulder. Her husband chose a double-breasted tuxedo jacket in gray.
“It means so much to us that all of you came tonight,” Chopra told guests (according to E! News). “This has been an extremely special chapter in my life and I wanted my husband to meet all of the special people that have contributed to it. So thank you so much for being here, friends of my parents, my mom, who’s hosting this wonderful evening, my dad, who I know is here. Thank you so much for coming and giving us your blessings and I hope you have a wonderful time tonight, and this is my husband, Nick Jonas.”

Jonas then took to the microphone to graciously thank their guests. “Thank you all so much for coming out,” he said. “It wasn’t too far from here that I took Madhu [Chopra] out to lunch and asked her if I could marry her daughter. So to be here tonight with all of you the people who have helped shape who she’s become means the world to me, and all of you embracing me with such open arms. It’s just unbelievable so thank you for that. Tonight is about celebrating and spending some time together.”
The two have experienced weddings galore lately, only recently also stepping out for the nuptials of Isha Ambani. The lavish affair was attended by the likes of Beyonce, who also performed at the couple’s Sangeet.
