Wedding planning is no problem for Priyanka Chopra. The Bollywood superstar revealed her wedding registry via Amazon on Monday, November 19, and it includes everything from a classic KitchenAid stand mixer to a set of roller blades.
“A lot of people get so stressed about weddings and I think we lose the charm,” Chopra told People. “[Wedding planning] is fun—and it should be!”
Chopra’s registry includes several classic essentials for the home like a stand mixer (Black Friday, here we come!) all the way to a Vitamix blender. She’ll be hosting her friends and family too (think, Serena Williams and her in-laws Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas), and they will be treated to gorgeous glassware and utensils for dinners at her home.
“I’ve always been an entertainer,” Chopra said. “My home is always bustling with loved ones. I have a very close-knit set of friends and so does Nick and I like being a host.”
She added, “My mom always taught me this, it’s a little classic and old-fashioned, but it’s always very important to be house proud. In my country there’s a saying, in Sanskrit, which means that a guest should be treated how you treat God.”
As a devoted pet owner, Chopra also registered for items to gift her dog Diana, including a yellow raincoat and a GPS pet tracker. Other interesting registry items include a record player and a Yeti cooler.
The star and her fitness-adoring fiancé will certainly remain active—if the registry is indicative of their future lifestyles. Chopra included items like an indoor bike, rollerblades, and a table tennis set. “These are the kinds of things I want when I build a home,” she noted.
The Quantico standout’s partnership with Amazon also included a charitable component with the company donating $100,000 to UNICEF. If you’re currently planning your wedding, you can channel Chopra’s humanitarian heart by setting up you chosen charity through The Knot Gifts Back, which will match by donating up to three percent to that organization or cause.
“I’m very excited to begin this new chapter in my life and I’ve selected some of my favorite items to inspire you during yours,” Chopra said in the press release to The Knot and others. “I am also so happy that Amazon is making a $100,000 donation to UNICEF, an organization that I hold close to my heart!”
It’s certainly crunch time for Chopra and Jonas, who will marry in early December following a whirlwind wedding week in India with close family members and friends.
