A Fab Five engagement and so much more. Queer Eye’s Karamo Brown is engaged to director Ian Jordan.
Brown’s rep confirmed the news to both People and E! News on Thursday, May 10, revealing that the big moment fell in line with another eventful occasion: Jordan’s 40th birthday. Brown was the one to propose at West Hollywood hotspot SBE Hyde Sunset.
“Tonight, with the help of my sons, I asked the love of my life to marry me and he said YESSSS!” Brown subsequently told E! News. “He is my today, tomorrow and everything!”
According to Entertainment Tonight, Brown gave a lovely speech while proposing to Jordan. “You are the funniest man I know, the kindest man, my biggest cheerleader. You made me feel like I could do anything,” Brown reportedly said to the director, who’s been his partner for eight years. “I hope we can conquer the world together for the rest of our lives. Ian Lamont Jordan, will you marry me?”
The Netflix star popped the question and presented Jordan with matching engraved bands designed by David Yurman. The other Queer Eye cast members, including Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, and Bobby Berk, were all there to witness the special moment.
