Bachelor in Paradise’s Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk Are Engaged

BACHELOR IN PARADISE - "Episode 405A" - As the highly anticipated and explosive season finale of "Bachelor in Paradise" begins, airing MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, the only thing our couples know is that this is their last day in Paradise... unless, as host Chris Harrison explains, they decide, after some tough conversations, that the potential for love in their relationship is real enough that they want one more date in Paradise. More wedding bells are ringing for Bachelor Nation. Bachelor in Paradise lovebirds Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk are getting married.

The couple announced their engagement Sunday, June 2, on Instagram alongside a series of photos from the proposal. The actual moment took place in Dallas a few days before on May 31.

Gates shared images from the moment alongside lyrics from Shania Twain’s “Forever and for Always.” “I’m keeping you forever and for always,” she wrote. “We will be together all of our days / Wanna wake up every morning to your sweet face… / 💞Always 💞.”

Gottschalk added their engagement date alongside the hashtag, “engaged.”

The sweet moment took place on a rooftop, which was decorated with white flower petals. Both were appropriately dressed for the occasion and Gottschalk hired a photographer to document the surprising life moment.

The couple  both starred on Bachelor In Paradise’s fourth season. “I knew I was gonna keep Adam around the first weekend we spent together outside of paradise,” Gates wrote in December 2017.

The couple’s engagement was naturally accompanied by a flood of congratulatory messages from Bacehlor Nation members like Chris Harrison, longtime host of the franchise. “Love you both!” he wrote under Gates’s caption. “Congratulations my friends.”

Others to chime in included JoJo Fletcher, Wells Adams and new dad, former Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr.
