Legally bound—and loving it! Reese Witherspoon marked her sixth wedding anniversary this weekend with an incredibly sweet message for her husband Jim Toth.
The Oscar-winning actress, 41, who runs a production company with the talent agent, took to Instagram on Sunday, February 26, to reflect and celebrate on their first stretch of marriage.
“Six years ago I was lucky enough to marry this wonderful man,” the Wild star noted, alongside a sunset pic with her spouse. “He makes me laugh everyday and supports me in everything I do. Happy anniversary, JT! Here’s to many more! ❤️❤️❤️.”
Witherspoon first met Toth in a bar. “This really drunk guy was hitting on me, making such an idiot of himself, yelling at me,” the Sweet Home Alabama star previously told Elle. “He was like (slurring), ’You don’t know me.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I know. I don’t know you!’”
Her future husband stepped in. “Jim came over and said, ‘Please excuse my friend. He’s just broken up with someone.’ And I remember thinking, his friend is such an ass, what a jerk. And that Jim was a really good friend, pulling him out of that situation.”
The pair married in a rustic ranch wedding in Ojai, California, in 2011. They share 4-year-old son Tennessee and Witherspoon’s two children, Ava and Deacon, from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillippe.
