It’s time to brush up those resumes. If you’re still in search of your dream job, jewelry company Robbins Brothers may have heard your plea to the career gods.
The brand behind The Engagement Ring Store announced Wednesday, January 23, that it’s hiring one lucky couple to travel the U.S. in search of the country’s most scenic and ideal proposal locations. And the best part is that it requires no time off from your current positions as the “Proposal Ambassador” role is a once-a-month, temporary, weekend gig that’s paid.
The chosen couple will have the opportunity to travel around the country over the duration of six months with all expenses paid as long as they scout the best proposal locations local to each selected region.
According to Robbins Brothers’ press release to The Knot, applicants should already be active on social media—particularly Instagram—and “are encouraged, but not required, to apply as a couple or with a partner.” Since this is a paid opportunity, the couple will be expected to document and contribute content regarding their adventures.
Robbins Brothers will eventually send the couple to travel to six different cities across the U.S. Upon arrival in each spot, the pair will have 48 hours to find the most scenic proposal spots ranging from an outdoor sunset to an extravagant indoor brunch setting.
According to The Knot’s 2018 Proposal Trends, same-day proposals with engagement photo shoot sessions have increasingly become more mainstream with 47 percent of surveyed couples hiring a photographer or videographer to document the moment.
Meaningful destination proposals have also become a popular option for couples as well as couples chronicling the entire journey leading up to the moment. Typically, the proposer plans proposals over a 4.4-month time frame.
Applications to be a Proposal Ambassador for Robbins Brothers are now open and will be accepted through February 14.
