Rob Kardashian is in boiling water with his big sisters. On the upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian confront their little brother in person after they learned about his engagement to Blac Chyna through social media during a family vacation in Vail, Colorado.

The conversation kicks off with Rob explaining to the girls that he knew he wanted his girlfriend to become his fiancee, but the decision to propose — with a 7-carat diamond engagement ring on April 5 — wasn’t pre-planned.

“I gave her the ring and then I got on one knee after. It happened, like, spontaneously. That’s why you guys weren’t in the loop,” Rob explains. “I was gonna do this regardless. I just didn’t know when and it ended up happening.”

But the sisters aren’t buying Rob’s explanation. “We want to be honest with you. We felt like we should’ve at least gotten a text that said, ‘Hey guys, I know you’re seeing this on social media. It’s true,” Kim says to Rob. “People were asking us and we were like, ‘We don’t even know if it’s true.”

“If you guys were really concerned and wanted to know, you guys would have said, ‘Is this true? Congratulations, you just got engaged!” Rob replies as he raises his voice.

With some choice words, the 29-year-old asks his older sisters: did they really think it was fake? Did they think he was going post a fake engagement on social media for attention?

“Why would I say ‘congratulations’ if I don’t know if it’s true or not?” Khloe interjects to which Rob responds, “It’s the first time I’m proposing to someone in my life. Why would I joke with that? I don’t joke with that.”

“It’s a two-way street. You guys could’ve easily picked up the phone and called me. No, I’m not going to talk to you guys when you’re in the room with Tyga and on a ski trip,” he says, pointing out that Kim was in Aspen, Colorado with their mom Kris Jenner, sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and Kylie’s boyfriend Tyga, who is the father of Blac Chyna’s 3-year-old son, King Cairo.

“You guys act like I’m supposed to call you and say this and that when you hate this girl!” he adds.

“Of course we’re happy for you,” Kourtney says in an attempt to make things better. “We’re allowed to be hurt that you didn’t tell us, but… you’re also allowed to do it in your own way.”

Taking a cue from Kourtney, Kim brings the dramatic conversation to a calmer close by explaining how they’ve been invested in Rob’s well being, especially after his depression set in saying, “We see that you’re happy, and that all that matters to us really.”

“I get I upset you guys. I get that I’m your brother, only brother, you would like to know when something important like this happens. I apologize because I wasn’t trying to be rude,” he finishes before adding, “And then there’s one more thing I have to talk to you guys about, but I don’t want you guys to get mad.”

Perhaps he’s taking their advice and letting them know about how he and Blac are expecting a baby – and a new E! reality series – before sharing the news on social media? Watch the Keeping Up with the Kardashians clip above, and tune in on Sunday, July 3, on E!
