Mark those calendars! Rob Kardashian and his pregnant fiancee, Blac Chyna, will star in their very own E! reality series titled Rob & Chyna, the network announced to The Knot and other outlets on Wednesday, June 1.
The upcoming docuseries will consist of six hour-long episodes that will detail everything from the couple’s engagement to Chyna’s expectancy as the two anticipate the arrival of their first child together. The network also announced on Wednesday that a special celebrating the birth of their baby is also in the works.
“E! has greenlit the new docuseries Rob & Chyna, a look inside Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s lives on the heels of their engagement and pregnancy news,” the network confirmed in its statement. “The couple will openly share their new life while setting up their new home and preparing for their first child together.”
Rob & Chyna will be produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions and Bunim/Murray Productions. Keeping Up With the Kardashians executive producer Ryan Seacrest will helm this series, and he’s in good company. Kardashian family momager and future grandmom Kris Jenner will also serve as executive producer of the show. Finally, makeup artist Chyna and sock designer Rob will both add that title to their ever-growing resumes, and serve as co-executive producers of their namesake docuseries.
Rob was first linked to Chyna this past January, and he proposed less than three months later. The makeup artist’s executive coordinator, Antonio Velaz, confirmed the engagement news to The Knot at the time in early April. The pair went on to shock everyone the following month when they revealed that she was pregnant.
“Very few love stories have created as much pop culture buzz as Rob and Chyna’s, and we are thrilled to see Rob in such a happy place,” said Jeff Olde, E!’s Executive Vice President of Original Programming & Development. “We are excited to share the next chapter in their relationship.”
Rob & Chyna is slated to premiere on E! later this year.
