Pass the lime! UFC fighter Ronda Rousey stopped by Live! With Kelly and Ryan on Wednesday, July 6, and revealed exactly how her fiancé, Travis Browne, proposed, and where they plan to get married.

“He’s awesome,” the glowing future bride told the co-hosts the morning after Independence Day. Rousey and Browne, who announced their engagement in April 2017, have also narrowed down the location and the aesthetic.

“He’s Hawaiian, so we’re gonna do kind of, like, a backyard, Mexican Corona party,” the Olympian said Wednesday. “But like, in Hawaii.”

Ripa then noted that it was smart of Rousey to marry someone from the Aloha State since visiting the in-laws will be a vacation. “I don’t want to name a state and insult somebody but there’s a couple I wouldn’t want to go to [for the holidays],” Rousey replied.

The couple confirmed their engagement to TMZ paparazzi this spring after she was spotted with a noticeable engagement ring on her left ring finger. “It was actually after heavy rain and we were under this waterfall,” she said of the proposal. “Apparently he had this whole speech prepared, but it just went down into bullet points in the moment.”

According to the fighter, those points consisted of: “We’re in New Zealand. We’re under a waterfall. Will you marry me?”

“He’s crying. I’m crying,” she recalled.

However, Browne wasn’t able to speak to the Rousey family about his plans to propose due to another incident. Rousey suffered a robbery. “He wanted to ask for permission,” she shared, before launching into a story about the home intruder. “Somebody had been squatting in my bed,” she said.
