A modern move for a modern man. Actor Ryan Reynolds made yet another adorable appearance with his stylish wife, Blake Lively, on Monday, May 14, and the couple even coordinated outfits for their latest joint red carpet appearance.
Lively stepped out in a dazzling black-and-red Brandon Maxwell number—a nod presumably to Deadpool’s costume. The actress made headlines just last week at the Met Gala for quietly supporting her husband and their sweet family by including a studded tribute to Reynolds and the kids in the form of her Judith Leiber clutch.

An equally supportive Reynolds had some sweet comments about his wife at his premiere after he was recently referred to as “Mr. Lively” by Diane Keaton. Deadpool will be released at the same time as Keaton’s new movie, Book Club, starring Candice Bergen, Jane Fonda and Mary Steenburgen. “Oh, I’m Mr. Lively 24/7,” Reynolds joked with Entertainment Tonight. “And I’m happy about it. It’s great. [It’s the] best gig.”
Lively spoke about her husband’s feminist qualities last July in an interview with Glamour. “With my husband, I’m lucky to have someone who is so conscious,” she expressed at the time. “My husband was like, ‘Why do I always say he?’ And I said, ‘That’s what we’re taught.’ So he’ll pick up, like a caterpillar, and instead of saying, ‘What’s his name?’ he’ll say, ‘What’s her name?’”
The couple married in September 2012, and now share two young daughters James and Ines.
