Ryan Reynolds is the latest celebrity spouse to be dubbed an Instagram husband. The actor’s wife, Blake Lively, took to Instagram over the weekend to share photos from a romantic beachfront jaunt in Hawaii, where Reynolds proudly took on the title.
The Gossip Girl actress, 29, posted a slideshow of herself laughing by the ocean with a purple hibiscus lei around her neck. Reynolds took one artistically blurry shot of his wife grinning, and snapped another close-up pic of her jewelry—layered necklaces and large hoop earrings that flowed nicely with her white bralette and matching skirt. Of course the photos didn’t feature Reynolds—all because he was the one snapping away.
The parents of two made headlines earlier this month after Lively posted a photo of her “Mrs. R” ring at a painting party.
Reynolds isn’t the only one fulfilling his marital social media duties. Lively told The Cut in 2013 that she’s secretly active on Pinterest. “It’s not like, top secret. It’s just a way that I can store the boards,” she said at the time. “Sometimes, it’s weird. If I’m looking [at] hair things, I see, oh, that’s me! That’s so weird!”
The strangest of all is when she finds images of her husband. “I re-pin pictures of Ryan,” she admitted.

Reynolds acknowledged his wife’s support at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony last December, saying: “I want to thank my wife, Blake, who is everything to me. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. You make everything better. You make everything in my life better. You’ve given me two of the most incredible children I’ve ever hoped to have.”
