Like other celeb husbands, Ryan Reynolds admits to borrowing beauty products from his wife, Blake Lively.
“I don’t use too much,” he told People in a new interview. “In the wintertime, if it’s just brutal out and you get that feeling when you get out of the shower and you think your face is going to fall off, I’ll grab a bit of her moisturizer. But I don’t really steal too many things from anyone.”
(In a separate interview with InStyle, he said: “I don’t really use much unless it’s like a bone-dry, freezing New York Day, I’ll put something on. My wife catches me because it’s often a body moisturizer. I’m using the wrong thing for the wrong body part.”)
The Deadpool actor is the face of Armani fragrances, so much of the interview was focused on that topic—including his wife’s scent. “Cinnamon and a midsummer thunderstorm,” Reynolds replied to People of Lively’s fragrance.
The Pacific Northwest native also went into detail about his other favorite smells, much of the memories evoked from his childhood. “I’m a hometown guy so I love the smell of Douglas fir trees,” he explained. “Growing up in Vancouver, it’s one of the most remarkable natural playgrounds you’ll ever be in. You’re just overwhelmed by the smell. Same when you go to Hawaii and the sweet smell in the air there.”
Currently, the spouses live in Westchester County with their two daughters, James, 4, and Inez, 2. Date nights are included with their little ones.
“It’s different for everyone. It depends on what rings your bell,” he told the mag of nights out (or in) with Lively. “I love spending time with my kids so if a date night can include them, it’s pretty fun.”

Lively and Reynolds married in September 2012. The couple celebrated their sixth anniversary last fall with their daughters. “The best vacation we can have is to be able to do nothing with our family,” Lively said on Good Morning America. “So that’s what we did.”
