Care for a cookie? Ryan Reynolds got himself into hot water with his wife, Blake Lively, after stopping by Conan on Wednesday, November 2. But the actor made it right.
Reynolds joked with host Conan O’Brien that it’s “tough” to get out of his house these days with two girls under the age of 2. The Deadpool actor then confirmed that his newborn baby is, in fact, a girl. “Yeah, a lot of estrogen,” he noted. “It’s like an American Girl doll took a s—t on my life. I’ll pour some cereal in the morning and there’s like a tiny shoe in there. That’s a choking hazard for me!”
Naturally, Lively was watching from home. The Gossip Girl alum posted a photo of milk and cookies resting on her couch along with a funny caption. “The ways I know that@vancityreynolds got himself into huge trouble on @teamcoco tonight,” Lively wrote. “Not only did he come home with my true love,@levain_bakery cookies, but he personally toasted them for me and brought me a cup of milk WITH ICE. 😍 Literal brownie points. ❤️🍪 #IfYoureABirdImABird.”
The A-listers quietly welcomed their second child together in September. The two are already parents to baby James, who will turn 2 next month. Reynolds turned sentimental when he told O’Brien that his love continues to grow as his family expands.
“It’s pretty remarkable, you know?” Reynolds said. “I used to say to my wife all the time, ‘I can’t actually imagine ever loving a second child as much as I love the first.’ Then that baby comes popping out… I was totally wrong.”

The couple, who married in 2012, most recently celebrated Reynolds’ 40th birthday at the very spot where they first fell in love.
