Between the engagement and the wedding, this couple certainly did not take their time. Montevallo singer Sam Hunt married hometown sweetheart Hannah Lee Fowler in Georgia on Saturday, April 15, and they chose a rustic, country-style venue for their reception.
The bride and groom opted to marry at their local church in Cedartown, but they took the party to a separate location in nearby Rockmart, Georgia. The venue, appropriately named In The Woods, is a charming, family-owned property in the northern region of the state.

The largely-secluded venue includes a vast reception hall, as well as a pavilion with church pews for those couples who want to marry on site. According to TMZ, there were only 150 guests in attendance at Hunt’s celebration.
Fowler wore a wedding gown by Nashville-based designer Olia Zavozina, who actually created ensembles for the entire wedding party and including the groom and his groomsmen. Photos posted to TMZ show the groom in a white tuxedo jacket with black lapels.

The timing was the perfect opening for the country singer, who will continue touring in Florida come May. Weeks before the wedding, Hunt made his first public appearance with Fowler at the ACM Awards in Las Vegas. The singer, who sported an engagement ring at the time, serenaded his future wife during the live broadcast, and teased details about his upcoming wedding.
“[It will be] low-key, low maintenance,” he previously to Entertainment Tonight. “We are both kind of introverted people for the most part, so we don’t like celebrating ourselves too much. If there ever is a time to do it, it is now, and it is more to celebrate the union of marriage than it is each other. I am excited about doing that.”
