Straight form the mother of the bride! Sarah Palin reacted to her daughter Bristol’s secret wedding to Dakota Meyer, and congratulated the newlyweds via Facebook on Thursday, June 9.

“All our families’ hearts are filled with love for Dakota, Bristol, Tripp, and Sailor Grace,” the former Alaskan governor, 52, captioned a photo of the couple. “It’s been a rewarding and interesting ride this past year – but these two sure do love an adventure! As their biggest supporters, we’re stratospherically happy it’s happened, amidst running a little late! Like they said, the foundation of their new life together is built with hard work and God’s grace, so they can’t go wrong – their future is as bright as Alaska’s midnight sun. – Todd and Sarah Palin.”

Political scion Bristol and Meyer shocked everyone this past Wednesday, June 8, when they announced that they had reconciled and moved forward with their wedding.

“Life is full of ups and downs but in the end, you’ll end up where you’re supposed to be,” Palin, 25, and Meyer, 27, told ET in an exclusive statement. “We are so happy to share with loved ones the wonderful news that we got married! Hard work and God’s grace are the foundation of our new life together, and with the love and support of our family we know we can get through anything.”

Meyer fueled wedding speculation on Tuesday when he posted a loved-up photo alongside Bristol, with whom he shares a 5-month-old daughter, Sailor Grace.

“On one hand, we know that everything happens for a reason, and there are no mistakes or coincidences,” the Medal of Honor recipient captioned the pic. “On the other hand, we learn that we can never give up, knowing that with the right tools and energy, we can reverse any decree or karma. So, which is it? Let the Light decide, or never give up? The answer is: both.”

Palin also shares her 7-year-old son, Tripp, with Levi Johnston.
