Prepare to “say yes,” America. TLC’s wildly popular series, Say Yes to the Dress, is expanding into another spinoff entitled Say Yes to the Dress America, the network announced to The Knot exclusively on Tuesday, February 5.
The 10-part series, which will premiere in January 2020, is currently in its casting phase, so recently-engaged couples will want to listen up if they want the full experience–for free.
SYTTD America will feature a bride from every state across the country, including D.C. and Puerto Rico, to enjoy the full wedding dress shopping experience in New York City. The chosen brides from each state will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the Kleinfeld Bridal boutique in Manhattan for a private shopping experience. There, each bride will be gifted a wedding gown with the help of a stylist. (Just think about the brands represented by the storied Manhattan-based boutique—Pnina Tornai, Randy Fenoli, Pronovias and more).
“When viewers need their bridal fix, they turn to Say Yes to the Dress,” TLC President Howard Lee explains. “We are beyond excited to expand this beloved franchise and give superfans across the country the chance to be a part of the biggest and most buzzworthy wedding event of the year.”
After the dress is selected—with the help of consultant—TLC will host a pre-wedding reception for the brides. Then, that same weekend, the network will host a group wedding with all 52 chosen couples exchanging vows inside an iconic New York City venue.
But that’s not all. Randy Fenoli will officiate the mass wedding for when the time comes and it will all be documented as part of a two-hour special. Interested couples can submit their casting applications now. Watch the video above for more information.
