Selena Gomez spent her weekend in one of the best ways possible: celebrating her best friend Courtney Barry’s impending wedding with a stylish bridal shower, in the company of great guests and good food.
Though the singer, 26, didn’t share any images from the afternoon get-together on social media, Gomez made an appearance in other feeds. Barry, in particular, shared a few sweet snapshots from the day, including one that showed a number of Polaroids scattered.
“A few of my perfect girls threw me a perfect shower,” the future bride captioned the Instagram post. In the photos, Gomez can be seen sporting a cherry red mock neck dress and big hoop earrings while goofing off with her pals.

The backyard celebration was picture-perfect, with white balloons and white floral arrangements dotting the lawn and twinkling strings of lights hanging over the scene. Based on one post shared by a guest, there were even ring pops.
Gomez has been candid about her close friendship with Barry in the past, posting a lengthy tribute to her friend last August after the pair got matching #1 tattoos.
“My actual #1 @courtneyjbarry you are an incredible woman,” the singer captioned the photo at the time. “The way you handle life’s most confusing moments is indescribable and graceful. You are moved by the littlest stories to the most heartbreaking ones, you will give someone your perfume if they say you smell nice, you are freaking hilarious and always stand firm in your faith, a loving sister, an amazing friend and a beautiful daughter.”

Gomez has been spending time with friends and loved ones in recent weeks following her release from treatment this past December.
“Selena is in a really good place,” a source told ET earlier this month. “She’s taking time for herself and reconnecting with friends and important people in her life.”
