Sealed with a courtside kiss. Tennis champion Serena Williams celebrated her semi-finals victory at the Australian Open on Thursday, January 26, by blowing a kiss to her fiance, Alexis Ohanian.
Williams, 35, who won against Croatia’s Mirjana Lučić-Baroni, looked to her love in the stands and then made the sweet gesture.
Ohanian, 33, could hardly conceal his excitement from the stands and put on a bashful display. The Reddit co-founder attended the semi-finals on Thursday with his future mother-in-law, Oracene Price.

Ohanian also took to Instagram to show support for his fiancee and his future sister-in-law, Venus Williams, as they face off against each other at Friday’s finals inside Rod Laver Arena. “This is going to be a historic #WilliamsFinal at the #AusOpen,” Ohanian wrote, alongside an action shot of Serena during her latest match. “I’m so proud and grateful to witness this. I hope you all will be watching these two legends AKA my fiance and sister.”
Serena announced the couple’s engagement back in December in a poetic Reddit post. “I came home. A little late. Someone had a bag packed for me. And a carriage waited. Destination: Rome,” she wrote. “To escort me to my very own ‘charming.’ Back to where our stars first collided. And now it was full circle. At the same table we first met by chance. But by choice. Down on knee. He said 4 words. And I said yes.”
Ohanian added from his end, “And you made me the happiest man on the planet.”
