Now that Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson and her NFL athlete husband Andrew East are married, it’s time for the wedding and honeymoon details to start rolling in!

The couple’s Saturday, April 16 wedding was confirmed to The Knot and the bride, who has been very public about her wedding planning, has already started to share some fun details.

The two 24-year-olds were married in a lovely outdoor ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee this past weekend. Both Johnson and East were surrounded by large bridal parties with 9 attendants on each side. The gorgeous nuptials were planned by Sara Fried, the owner of Fête Nashville: Luxury Weddings.

Johnson shared an image of her many beautiful bridesmaids in full hair and makeup, all dressed in matching white robes on Instagram on Monday, April 18. “These ladies are my everything,” she captioned the photo. “Best friends and sisters for life!” The only non-matching robe was the bride’s, which just stood out from the rest with its powder blue color and touch of white lace around its cuffs. Ahead of the wedding, Johnson shared details with The Knot of how the girls bonded together while celebrating her bachelorette party in Chicago.

The bride also shared some images from the rehearsal dinner which included the groom’s Kansas City Chiefs football playing pals Nick Williams and Dustin Colquitt. “Another fun one from this weekend with our Chiefs family,” Johnson captioned the image of the NFL players and their wives, “May not still be in KC but forever calling these beauties and gents friends.” East now plays for the Oakland Raiders.

And, though the bride’s Instagram handle still reads @ShawnJohnson, the Olympic gold medalist has already changed her bio to read, “Shawn East WIFE! Youtuber. Olympian. Motivational Speaker. DWTS Champ. NYTimes Best Seller!”

Just a day after their wedding, on Sunday, April 17, Dancing with the Stars shared a heartwarming, “Congrats to #DWTSAlum @shawnjohnson on her marriage this weekend. Wishing you a life full of joy and happiness,” along with a quick and stunning video of the couple’s wedding on their Instagram.

Johnson won Season 8 of Dancing With the Stars with dancing partner Mark Ballas (who proposed to BC Jean last November), and was runner-up the Season 14 All-Stars show.

The wedding video montage starts with Johnson approaching East from behind for their wedding day first looks. The bride looks beautiful in her custom Olia Zavozina strapless wedding dress, her hair half pinned in an up-do, with gentle curls down her back.

The video continues with the soon-to-be Mrs. Andrew East now wearing her long veil as her father walks her down the aisle; the video catches her squeezing his arm as she smiles looking towards her fiance.

We also get a glimpse of the couple’s wedding venue, the altar with large stone archways covered in pale cascading flowers and greenery, and the base of the altar which is surrounded with various-sized logs and pillar candles. A “rustic” yet “elegant” wedding just as Johnson mentioned on Instagram last year!

The newlyweds also shared some details about their honeymoon, which as of now is being held stateside in California. Holding up champagne flutes and announcing “Mr. & Mrs. East taking on Napa Valley and Oakland,’’ the couple showed off East’s new, simple wedding band and Johnson’s sparkling diamond band that completes her matching set on Instagram Monday.
