Roger… is engaged! Sister, Sister actor Marques Houston, best known for playing pesky neighbor Roger Evans on the smash ‘90s sitcom starring Tia and Tamera Mowry, is engaged to his girlfriend Miya.
Houston, 37, took to social media to share the news late Monday, February 4, by posting an oceanfront photo of his hand interlocked with Miya’s–her large engagement ring in focus. “She said ‘YES,’” Houston captioned the romantic photo.
Houston’s new fiancée has since changed her name to “Miyana Houston” on Instagram. The actor posted another photo from the dreamy beachside shoot and wrote: “The way you look at me… @miyanahouston #fiance #MyLove.”
The actor came prepared with a 2-carat princess-cut diamond set on a pave band. He also coordinated outfits with his girlfriend, with both in striking hues of red contrasted against the natural setting.
“I am so blessed to have you and to be yours FOREVER,” Miya added on her page. “These past months have been the best months of my life. I wouldn’t have wanted to spend them with anyone else or any other way.”
The pair started dating in late 2018. Both are professed members of Jehovah’s Witness.
