Six Women Showed Up to Friend’s Wedding in the Same Dress—And No, They Were Not Bridesmaids

You know what they say about birds of a feather! Six women found themselves in the hilariously coincidental faux pas of wearing the same dress to their friend’s recent wedding—but they played it off in perfect style.

Debbie Speranza, one of the six women, shared a photo of the group together with the bride on the dance floor along with a good-humored caption.

“You really should start a bridal registry so that your customers can [inquire] whether anyone else has purchased one of your dresses for the same event,” she wrote, with several laughing crying face emojis. “No we are NOT the bridesmaids just the guests. Think deserve a gift voucher for all this advertisement.”

The lace, navy, tailored, pencil-style dress was purchased from Australian store Forever New. It’s a popular item at a reasonable $160, and still remains in stock. The fabric is comprised of polyester with an elastane and polyester lining.

“One dress gorgeous on all of them different shapes and sizes now there’s a positive advertisement!!!!” one commenter wrote. Quipped another, “Isn’t it funny that 99% of guys wear the same coloured suits and that’s ok but ladies dressed the same and it’s usually a disaster. Love that these ladies found the funny side.”
