Newlyweds Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello ventured off to the tiny Turks and Caicos private island of Parrot Cay for their honeymoon after tying the knot on November 22nd at The Breakers Palm Beach in Florida.
Though their wedding was broadcast across Instagram, with several celebrities, guests and the couple themselves sharing tons of images of their ceremony and reception, the couple chose to keep their Caribbean island honeymoon at the Parrot Cay by COMO resort a little more intimate.
The couple only shared a few images of themselves on their honeymoon retreat, the first showing Vergara’s tanned legs with crystal clear turquoise ocean and white sand beach in the background. The only other person in the picture standing chest-deep in the ocean appears to be Manganiello. The Modern Family actress simply wrote “honeymoon.”
In a second image shared by both Vergara and Manganiello the couple are taking a selfie laying on a white beach towel in the sun. Both give praise to restaurateur Robert Earl on their respective Instagram pictures. Sophia writes “We will never forget this place,” while Manganiello comments, “I cannot thank @RealRobertEarl enough for the best vacation of my life! #ParrotCay!” The founder of Planet Hollywood, Earl used to co-own the Parrot Cay by COMO resort, and still maintains several luxurious villas on the property.

We can only speculate but in taking a peek at the accommodations at the Parrot Cay by COMO resort, and by all the thanks given to Earl, the new Mr. and Mrs. would have stayed on-site one of the Estate Villas rented out by the restaurant mogul. The island villas offer three-bedroom homes dressed in airy Caribbean decor, offering up a sizeable private sundeck and heated pool just steps from the beach, along with 24-hour personalized butler service. Yes, please!
Earl isn’t the only famed owner of a private island villa on Parrot Cay. If their sights were set on something even more stunning and secluded, and if their honeymoon followed the pattern left by their palatial wedding venue, they could journey further down the road to the Estate Villa full of worldly antiques owned by fashion designer Donna Karan called “The Sanctuary.” Or, even bigger, they could rent the 11-bedroom villa named “The Residence” where Bruce Willis married Emma Heming!
Regardless of where they stayed, the newlyweds appeared to be living it up! Manganiello shared an image of an array of cigar boxes including a single golden cigar writing, “Thank you @DMCigars for the wedding cigars! And most of all for the aged 2011 24kt#GoldenTorpedo!!!”
In the latest image shared on Manganiello’s Instagram, Vergara took the reigns and snuck a selfie while her husband was playing in the sand. He captioned the photo, “Getting selfied while trying to catch a crab on my honeymoon…”

The couple have since returned to the states after their Caribbean getaway. Welcome home you lovebirds!
