Sweet Valley High alum Brittany Daniel is married! The actress—who starred in the popular ’90s series—wed attorney Adam Touni in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 29, according to People.
The couple exchanged vows in front of 150 guests at the The Carondelet House—a stunning downtown villa. The bride, 41, wore a custom lace off-shoulder gown by designer Trish Peng.
Daniel’s twin sister and SVH co-star Cynthia Daniel Hauser served as maid of honor, and friends from the television series The Game attended the nuptials. The actress enlisted Charley King of Blue Bell Events to pull-off her wedding vision.
The newlyweds’ color scheme included hues of copper, blush and gray. The venue’s in-house caterer, Tres La, served decadent dishes, such as steak and eggs, Maine lobster rolls and quinoa spinach bites. LA-based DJ Dom kept guests dancing throughout the evening, and celebrity photographer Michael Segal captured every memorable moment on camera.
The couple managed to plan the urban chic nuptials in only seven months. Touni proposed this past Christmas Day during a hike overlooking the San Fransisco Bay. Daniel announced the engagement on Instagram. “I said yes!” she wrote, alongside a snap of her diamond ring. “My world just became brighter today.”
It has been a long road for the newlywed, who was diagnosed with stage IV non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2011. Since her recovery, Daniel has held her family even closer. She and Cynthia recently launched a lifestyle blog, The Sweet Life, featuring beauty tips, recipes, travel inspiration and more.
Daniel and her husband are thankful for their loved ones’ care and support on their wedding day. “We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and affection shared by our friends and family on this special day,” the newlyweds told People. “We are so grateful to have this kind of support as we start this journey together.”
