This Bass is all about the marriage! Jessie James Decker’s younger sister, Sydney Rae James, married baseball player Anthony Bass in Los Cabos, Mexico, on Friday, January 27.
The couple celebrated their nuptials at Flora Farms in San Jose Del Cabo. The bride looked stunning in a strapless, white, mermaid-style gown, and danced under twinkly lights with her new husband.
Jessie, who was the matron of honor, previously teased the wedding to The Knot in an exclusive interview. “Her wedding’s very different than mine,” the singer shared last November. “I think she’s really smart to do a destination wedding. She’s put the most beautiful wedding together… and it’s going to be absolutely stunning.”
The bridesmaids all wore blush pink, off-the-shoulder dresses designed by Jessie herself. “She asked me to design it. I mean, these are so beautiful,” she said in the same interview. “They’re all the same color— a shade of pink. They’re off-the-shoulder and stunning. I think we’re gonna make them available for people to buy later on.”
NFL player Eric Decker joined his wife as a member of the wedding party. Several of the groomsmen took to social media on the morning of the wedding to reveal the adorable gifts they received from the bride and groom for partaking in the ceremony–Ray-Ban aviators, personalized beer glasses, and hangover tablets.

Jessie previously listed some of the key responsibilities she had in mind as matron of honor in Sydney’s wedding.
“For me, it’s making sure she feels the most beautiful she’s ever felt in her entire life. I feel like every bride wants to feel that on their special day,” the singer told us last fall. “They just want to feel beautiful. I already planned ahead. I’m gonna do her hair. My best friend Jessica Smith is doing… is going to be doing her makeup. We’re going to be collaborating so she looks and feels absolutely perfect. I’m putting my hair up in a ponytail. It’s Sydney’s day.”

The bride and groom dated for six months before Bass popped the question during a scenic hike in Phoenix, Arizona, in February 2016. Bass’ sister was the one to facilitate the introduction between the spouses after spotting Sydney on Jessie and Eric’s reality show several years ago.
“I loved how I could completely be myself around him and how much fun we always had,” Sydney previously told The Knot. “Even when I do weird, funny things he never thinks I’m being weird. He just loves it and feeds off of me. He is extremely thoughtful, sweet and fits in perfectly around my family.”
Her big sis told The Knot in a separate interview, “If I had to put together the perfect man for my sister, it would’ve come out as Anthony. I love them together. He adores her. He thinks she’s perfect.”
