Anna Kendrick and June Squibb may have been seated at the castaway table as Eloise and Jo in the film Table 19, but the ladies proved a bad situation can lead to life-changing moments.
In a newly resurrected deleted scene from the 2017 drama, Squibb prompts an impromptu dance party, proving she’s one cool lady!
The clip features the 87-year-old actress encouraging Rezno (Tony Revolori) to get up and dance to forget his childhood woes. “Just turn on the radio and just dance!” she adamantly suggests. But Revolori’s character refuses.
When Kendrick turns up the radio, Revolori and Squibb are inspired to get on their feet, along with Bina (Lisa Kudrow), Jerry (Craig Robinson) and Walter (Stephen Merchant). Soon, everyone is dancing to Modern English’s “I Melt with You.”
Table 19 is out on Digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday, June 13.
