Taylor Swift is the gift that keeps on giving! The superstar songstress caught wind of a rumor that two of her fans were going to use her songs during their wedding ceremony, and the singer decided to respond in kind.
On Saturday, March 17, Swift gifted newlyweds Edward McNoble and Margaret McNoble with a $150 bottle of Dom Pérignon champagne along with a sweet note that read: “Rumor has it you might be using my song in your wedding celebration which makes me so happy! Here’s to this amazing day of your continuing love story. Love, Taylor.”

For their entrance, the couple went with Swift’s 2014 hit “Welcome to New York,” which was fitting since they married in East Meadow, New York. They chose “Love Story” for their first dance (that much should be self-explanatory).
The couple told Us Weekly that the gift and note came as a complete surprise, and made their big day even more memorable.
“When we got to the wedding venue, they told us, ‘There [is] a special gift upstairs for you from a very special person,’” the pair said. “It was awesome. It was such a great day. With all the moving parts, this was a great surprise! To get a bottle of Dom is a very nice gift, and then to see it’s from Taylor Swift is an even better gift!”
A source told the publication that the singer would have tried to make it to the wedding herself, but she was unfortunately out in Los Angeles at the time.
Swift has been a constant presence at her fans’ weddings over the years. Earlier this year, the “Delicate” singer sent a note and a bouquet of beautiful white flowers to Alexas “Lexi” Gonzales and Brittany Lewis after hearing how much her song “Love Story” had played a part in their own relationship.
“Brittany proposed and used the best line of all at the end of the proposal,” Gonzales told The Knot. “She said, ‘I talked to your dad now go pick out a white dress.’ Also, once they announced us… and we were walking out of the reception, that was the song we chose to play!”
And in 2016, Swift crashed a wedding in New Jersey and even offered up an impromptu performance for two fans. The star herself shared a few photos from the fun-filled fete, including a solo shot with the bride and groom. “Third wheel,” the newly-single star wrote alongside a crying-laughing emoji.
